quotes We filmed the factory section at both Devinci and Shimano. The peeps at Devinci are amazing, so helpful and I absolutely love my Wilson, best DH bike I've ever ridden! We couldn't have pulled off the intro without them. -Gibb

quotes I don't know if anyone is more frustrated by this delay then us. We had the film to the posthouse on Sept 28th which by any standards is plenty of time to get the DVD's out the door. The posthouse we are using are not amateurs by any means, they've work on Hollywood movies and that's what makes it even more frustrating, we expect the best and the first pass came back much less then perfect. Our biggest set back at this moment is packaging. We switched to an eco friendly package and for some reason beyond my comprehension they can't hit the dates they initially promised. The hardest thing for us to swallow is all of these delays have been totally out of our hands. I feel like flying down to LA and throwing a couple of throat punches. MOST IMPORTANT. NO MONEY SHOWS UP IN OUR ACCOUNTS UNTIL THIS MOVIE SHIPS. I know some of you have been charged but most people aren't suppose to be charged until the DVD's ship from Pinkbike. We do not get any money from pre-orders until the movie ships. We're not running around spending your money and I've included this link to show you I'm not loaded. 3 pictures up from the bottom is a picture of my mini-van. http://www.pinkbike.com/news/interbike-2010-products.html#top Sadly a week after this picture was taken the tranny started to go out on her and I'm currently bumming rides until the money from the pre-orders shows up. I don't tell you this to get any pity, i've chosen to be an action sports filmmaker but, I just want people to know we aren't trying to scam you. Please except our apology for the delay and I promise we are doing all we can to get these DVD's/Blu-rays shipped out as fast as possible. Thank You everyone for your support, your pre-orders, and your patience. Ryan Gibb.

quotes osomtbr/vivalarevolution is not a part of the actual Life Cycles crew and I've asked them to chill out. We would never say anything against the Anthill boys and "the collective" is still one of my favorite movies. Commentpolice thank you in the end for the nice comment even after all this discussion, now it's time we close this argument but yes it's ok to give your point of view, that's the beauty of where we live. Liamm, Thank You for your support and comments, it's nice to hear the other perspective on this. I'm glad you enjoyed the film for what it is. Cheers, Ryan Gibb

quotes CommentPolice and Tigs. Thanks for even checking out the movie. That's too bad it didn't meet your expectations but I always knew from the beginning we were going to have some fans and some people who weren't stoked on the amount of riding. osomtbr/vivalarevolution, I'm pretty sure I know who this is (aka office friend) thanks for the defending the film but as commentpolice said the movie needs to stand on it's own two feet. I too went to Film school and I probably believe the film is good for a lot reasons you believe it's bad. There's no use arguing about it. Only time will tell what the general feeling is about it. Yup there's going to be some people who hate it but in general we are getting some amazing feedback. Both from inside and outside of the bike industry. All I can say about the film is it's something that I am proud of. Other then that I'm sure everyone has had their chance to say what they want to say about the film and there's no use arguing about it. Thanks again everyone for your interest and support. Ryan Gibb PS. Just because a location for a premier isn't listed here doesn't mean it's not coming to your town. We are securing new locations everyday.

quotes I'm sorry to hear your frustration and I understand your disappointment. You have a point as we should have informed the customer before the Oct 18th release date. On this point we were hoping to have a definite answer of when the customer could expect the DVD before we made the announcement. That never came and we're hoping to know in the next day or so. As far as the company we hired to do the duplication, they did have a solid reputation. They've done Hollywood movies and they came highly recommended. We did a lot of shopping around as this is one of the most important steps in the process. It came as a big surprise when the DVD came back to us as less then ideal. We are not cutting corners on this movie. Quality is the most important thing to us, we want customers to be happy with the end product. As a new company we are still figuring out many things and we want to be transparent to our customers. With only 2 of us things tend to pile up but no excuses here, we are working our hardest to deliver our movie in a reasonable time frame with this set back. Please except our apologies and we plan on keeping the customer informed as the information comes in. I hope you get to enjoy the movie some time in the near future. I do Thank You for your interest in Life Cycles.

I'm going to give you my honest opinion of Life Cycles; it was incredible. I have watched it more times than any other bike movie I own. I simply don't agree with those saying that it was "over-hyped in all the mags" or "overrated big time." Those that don't appreciate what you've done in this movie don't understand what biking is all about. There is more to biking than riding down a hill, and you captured all of it. Thank you for this movie. I will show my kids and grand children (when I have them) this art that you have created. P.S. I loved the soundtrack too, and went and bought it off Itunes. Data Romance (
Ajay Bhattacharyya and Amy Kirkpatrick) is amazing.

hahaha at least you've got a sense of humour & can take negative feedback i'm sorry for being a prick but i just didn't like your movie it was way overhyped in all the mags & websites maybe we were expecting too much i just wish it had more riding in it & didn't have that boring f*cker talking about nothing all the time putting me to sleep (sorry if your the boring f*cker) i hope the next movie you make has alot more riding in it & not so much nature doco feel but keep your ideas about different camera angles & stuff like that as you did have some really good footage in places good luck to you in the future,
